  "From Lausanne to Beijing" The 9th International Fiber Art Biennale was grandly opened at Shenzhen Guanshanyue Art Museum at 3 pm on September 10, 2016. The 221 participating fiber art works stood out from nearly 1,000 entries, and the selection rate was only 23%. The country covers 102 colleges and universities, 28 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions (including Hong Kong and Taiwan). "From Lausanne to Beijing" has become the world's largest and highest-standard international fiber art exhibition.

  The 9th International Fiber Art Biennale "From Lausanne to Beijing" was supported by the National Art Fund, became a communication and promotion project of the National Art Fund, received the special fund for the development of publicity and cultural undertakings in Shenzhen, and was supported by the key scientific research projects of Shenzhen Vocational and Technical College support.

  This exhibition is jointly sponsored by the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University, the Promotion Office of Shenzhen City of Design, and the Fiber Art Professional Committee of the China Arts and Crafts Association. Jointly organized by Shenzhen University Art Museum.

  The opening ceremony was presided over by Yan Weixin, Deputy Director of Guan Shanyue Art Museum.
